The Extension stores only your preferences locally using Chrome's storage API:

• Theme preference (light/dark/system)
• Export column settings
• UI state preferences

This data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted externally.

4. Website Content Access

To perform SEO analysis, the Extension reads content from web pages you visit, including:

• HTML content (meta tags, headings, links, images)
• Structured data (JSON-LD, Schema.org markup)
• HTTP response headers
• Cookies (for cookie audit feature)

This data is processed locally and displayed only to you. It is never stored permanently or transmitted to any external server.

5. Permissions

The Extension requires certain browser permissions to function:

• activeTab / host_permissions: To access and analyze the current page's content
• scripting: To inject scripts that extract SEO data from pages
• webRequest: To capture HTTP headers for analysis
• storage: To save your preferences locally
• cookies: To analyze cookies for the privacy audit feature
• clipboardWrite: To copy analysis data to clipboard when requested
• sidePanel: To display the analysis interface

6. Third-Party Services

The Extension does not integrate with any third-party services or APIs. All functionality is self-contained.

When you use the Sitemap Analyzer feature, the Extension fetches sitemap files directly from the websites you specify. These requests go directly from your browser to the target website.

7. Data Sharing

We do not share any data with third parties because we do not collect any data.

8. Children's Privacy

The Extension does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 years of age.
